Restaurants and BarsThe hotel’s elegant dining room is situated on the ground floor and caters exclusively for guests. The dining room offers authentic typical English food, with traditional roast dinners and simple dishes. There are also 2 bars to choose from. The main bar is on the ground floor and again caters exclusively to hotel guests. Directly below, where the old cellars once were, is Harvey's Wine Bar. Harvey’s serves a selection of bar meals, real ales, fine wines by the glass or by the bottle, four lagers, Guinness (both normal and extra cold), and an impressive selection of spirits including single malts. The bar offers 3 guest ales, which change on a monthly basis, with beers from both national breweries and regional and micro breweries available. Harvey’s consists of a series of rooms and alcoves and has a pleasant beer garden outside. The bar also has a pool table, fruit machines, a jukebox, table football and a big-screen TV showing live sporting events. The menus change periodically to suit the season and food is served from 12:00 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday.
