Room information
All of the hotel’s rooms are comfortably furnished and well equipped with all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. Most rooms have private en suite facilities with a bath and a shower, but some rooms with walk-in showers are available on request, subject to availability. Hair dryers are available from reception for a small deposit. Wake-up calls and newspapers are available from reception on request. Rooms with sea views are available only on request and are subject to availability. Sea view rooms are available at an additional cost, which is payable directly to the hotel. From May 2008, some smoking bedrooms are available on the third and fourth floor only. These rooms are limited and are subject to availability. Please request at the time of booking. All other bedrooms and public areas remain strictly non-smoking.

Restaurants and Bars
Dining at the Viking is an experience in itself. Our beautiful sea view restaurant opens daily for breakfast and dinner. Start the day with a full English breakfast accompanied by fruit juices, cereals and all the toast you need. Each evening our chef Andy, who has 20 years service with Choice Hotels, prepares a delightful 3 course table d'hôte dinner with plenty of choice at each course. For all day long snacks and beverages in pleasant surroundings, simply head for the Café Bar.
Directions
By Car: - Follow the M55 towards Blackpool; at the end you will come to a roundabout. - Drive straight across onto Yeadon Way and continue across the 1st mini roundabout and past the Yeadon Way pub (on your left). - At the 2nd mini roundabout turn right and at the 3rd mini roundabout bear left, continuing to the junction and turn left onto Waterloo Road. - Heading down Waterloo Road, go straight across the traffic lights and continue until you reach the 2nd set of lights. - At these lights turn left onto the promenade. - The Viking Hotel is on the left towards the end of the second block.
