A major investment by its new owners has transformed this former wayside inn. It has been completely restyled and extended to create a sixteen bedroom hotel that is already becoming known for its individuality and contemporary character.
The new, modern interior together with its dedicated and friendly management style, make it a venue equally appealing to local diners, businesses, weekend visitors and to those celebrating a special event.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Check-In: You will need to check in at the restaurant, which is open day. In the case of a late check-in, your key will be left in the reception area with directions to your bedroom (use the side door).
The majority of our rooms are equipped with a shower. We have two more luxurious rooms which have corner baths. These rooms are bookable upon request. Please specify your preference in the guest comments at the time of booking.
All of our rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard in a stylish, comfortable contemporary style. Oak furniture, soft neutral furnishings & fresh, mosaic tiled bathrooms make for a relaxed environment after a hard day at work or play.
We have three single rooms, each with an ensuite shower room. They have recently been refurbished in a contemporary, comfortable style and enjoy a modem point.
Eating in the restaurant at the Rose and Crown is always a memorable experience. The wine list is truly global, providing the best possible combination with fresh, seasonally-inspired dishes. Or you can take a seat in the bar and enjoy the lighter, but equally attractive choices available, along with an wide choice of drinks.
From London & the East: At M40 junction 4 follow road markings on motorway roundabout onto the A4010. Take the Aylesbury signs to A40. Turn left onto A40 towards oxford/Aylesbury mile to roundabout. Take A4010 towards Princes Risborough/Aylesbury. The Rose and Crown Hotel is approx 4 miles further on the left hand side on the A4010.
