The Waterwheel Restaurant is surrounded by sliding glass windows leading out onto the lovely gardens. The gardens have picturesque views of the river and the surrounding countryside and are beautifully illuminated in the evening. The restaurant takes its name from the unique working waterwheel, which is another attractive feature. However, the most important aspect of any restaurant is the quality of the food and the service, and we are justifiably proud of both in the waterwheel. Our menu is based on the principles of using quality raw materials, freshly cooked and attractively presented. There is a wide selection of dishes to choose from, including fresh fish, grills, vegetarian items and dishes with a Mediterranean influence. In addition to the extensive à la carte menu, there is also a 3-course fixed price menu, offering plenty of choice. These fixed price menus offer exceptional value for money, as do the individually priced dishes on the à la carte menu. In addition to dinner being served every evening of the week, the Waterwheel Restaurant is open for lunch on Sunday, when a special 3-course fixed price menu is available, offering plenty of options for each course, including a choice of 3 different roasts. Children no older than 12 years old receive a discount on the fixed price of this menu. The Waterwheel Restaurant is entirely non-smoking throughout. Hotel FacilitiesGeneral
