The Snowdon Mountain Railway is within 100 metres, and you can try rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing or pony trekking in the local area.

By car from the North: Take the a55 towards Bangor, turning onto the b4366 from Junction 11. 4 miles further, turn onto the b4547 until the T-junction with the a4086 and turn left to Llanberis. By car from Shrewsbury: Best to take the A5 to Capel Curig turning left onto the A4086 towards Llanberis. Hotel is on the right before the village. Use the postcode LL55 4TY if you wish to use an internet route map.
