If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 60.00 will be charged. If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All meals are prepared using fresh, locally sourced produce (where possible). a cuisine that is contemporary English with strong traditional influences. For a more informal meal, The Oak Bar is the ideal setting, serving traditional bar meals beside the open fire. All meals are accompanied by a fine choice of specially selected wines from the Old and New Worlds. When making your booking, why not take advantage of the George’s dinner offer and upgrade for a small additional cost? This will include a 3-course à la carte evening meal. By car From the m6, leave the motorway at Junction 40 from the south or 41 from the north. Follow the signs for Penrith town centre. Once you enter the town centre itself you will see 'Woolworth's' on your right. Immediately after that turn left. After a few yards the road opens up; our car park in entered via the archway on the right. By rail to Penrith. Continue by taxi, bus or walk. (1/2 mile) By air to Newcastle (90 miles) or Manchester (120 miles): continue by coach or train.
