About Downs Edge hotel
At Downs Edge you will find the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere of a country house. The gourmet breakfast menu has homemade dishes and Downs Edge marmalade and preserves.
The house is set in magnificent gardens opening onto the Bristol Downs at the front and the Botanic Gardens at the back. Downs Edge is ideally situated for theatres, cinemas, restaurants and both universities. The city centre is within 2 miles (3.2 km).
The house is furnished with fine period furniture and paintings, and a library. The en suite bedrooms have views across the Downs or the gardens.

If arriving between 1pm and 5pm during the week, please advise us of your time of arrival. We would be very grateful if you could arrive before 7pm on a Saturday - otherwise, please advise us. It is vital to take a copy of the directions to Downs Edge.Please note that no all rooms can accomodate extra bed or cot.

The house is set well back from the nearest road, so all rooms are extremely quiet. Most bedrooms have views either across the Downs - an open park of 450 acres - or of the large gardens.
