Sitting on the Tankerton cliffs and overlooking the Thames Estuary, the hotel is ideally located for touring Kent’s north-east coast, with the towns of Whitstable, Margate and Ramsgate all within easy reach.
With the Medieval city of Canterbury only a short drive away, the Marine Hotel's relaxed atmosphere and convenient seaside position make it an excellent location for business meetings, conferences, dinner dances and weddings.
In the evenings you can enjoy a meal in the hotel’s restaurant, prepared using the finest local produce. The bar and lounge, which look out across the sea, are also open all day, serving meals at lunch time and in the evening.

There is a splendid restaurant that offers excellent food using the finest local produce and bar meals are available at lunchtime and in the evenings. Shepherd Neame’s famous Kentish Ales are on offer in the bars, together with a wide range of wines from around the world. Friday night is Fish Night in the restaurant.
There is easy access from London and the Kent coast by the A2/M2 and motorways linking with the M25.
