This historic coaching inn dates back to before the Civil War, and has a traditional bar, a restaurant and en suite rooms overlooking the village green.
The Red Lion Hotel is south of Banbury and close to the M40 motorway. It features old oak, stone chimney pieces, intriguing low beams, narrow doors and hallways.
The restaurant was once a bake house and brewery, and now serves fine English and continental cuisine. Traditional ales and fine wines are served from the cool cellars and stone vaults.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The restaurant serves the best English and Continental food, fine wine and traditional ales. The Red Lion can cater for small weddings and private functions of up to fifty people, or small conferences with up to ten delegates. The Restaurant is of withstanding quality on two distinct levels and capable of seperation if required. The Red Lion is three miles outside the historical market town of Banbury and fifteen miles north of the Oxford. To find us From M40 take J11 into Banbury and then follow the A4260 towards Oxford through Bodicote into Adderbury. Hotel is on the left, after the traffic lights in Adderbury
