We are located 10 km south of Tours in the heart of the Chateaux country.
Our hotel is an ideal place for tourists or leisure travellers, business or even a stopover to the ocean or the South of France. The Chateau Hotel Domaine de la Tortinière is a peaceful and charming 19th century Manor in 15 acres of park overlooking the landscape where the Indre River flows. The 29 rooms are in the Château itself and in the neighbouring outhouses and are all decorated with lovely fabrics and antique furniture. The well-known restaurant offers a refined cuisine served either in the old Orangerie of the Château or on the Terrace.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The decoration is refined and very cosy. You will find antique furniture and colourful French or English matching fabrics throughout. The room has a view of our garden.
David Chartier’s refined cuisine is served either in the former orangery or on the outside terrace. Recipes are inventive as well as taking inspiration from traditional Loire cookery. The roasted pigeon breast served with a spicy pastilla, creamed almond and pistachio oil is not to be missed.
At the crossroad of : Nantes, Lyon, Paris, Poitiers, Bordeaux, Espagne Tours and Châteauroux. Next to the motorway A10, take exit 23 from the North, or exit 24 from the South. Near Montbazon and the R.N. 10. Coming from Tours by the nationale 10, turn at the second light on the right, in the Village of les 'Gués'. Coming from the South, turn at the first light on the left after Montbazon. By train: The T.G.V 55 minutes from Paris, train station of TOURS or Saint-Pierre-des-Corps. By Plane Tours London Stansted direct Tours St Symphorien Airport at 25 km. Tours-Sorigny at 6 Kms.
