This unique modern hotel has a convenient location and good transport links, with easy access to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) via the Royal Victoria station directly opposite.
There are 210 comfortable, modern rooms, including standard twin or double rooms, superior rooms, suites and well-equipped, accessible rooms for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility.
The Docklands Bar & Grill is a stylish new brasserie-style restaurant, featuring 2 conservatories and private dining suite for up to 40 people. It will open in early September 2008.
The Quad Health & Fitness Club offers superb leisure and relaxation facilities, including a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a swimming pool with jacuzzi, a eucalyptus-enhanced steam room, saunas, beauty treatments and classes such as Pilates and aerobics.

The Crowne Plaza Docklands is renovating its restaurant to give an even more memorable stay. From the 11 August to 7 September, the hotel will offer a limited food menu on its first-floor restaurant and bar.
Room information
The hotel boasts 210 stylish and contemporary rooms. All of the bright, modern and comfortable rooms are well equipped, with all the contemporary comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. Whether you are exploring the region as a tourist, visiting the area on business or attending a conference, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven. Every room has a separate hanging closet, as well as a spy hole and a deadbolt for security and peace of mind. Electronic messaging and other guest services are available and each room has a sleek, modern flat-screen TV. All rooms feature hotel-branded stationery and 20% of the rooms have a safe. Each room is en suite with a full-size bath and a power shower. Complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors and other sundry items you had intended to pack but forgot to, are available from reception. 11 of the 210 rooms are fully accessible for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility, 8 of these rooms are interconnecting. The accessible rooms feature wide doors with lowered handles, lowered spy holes and kick boards, unobstructed floors throughout the rooms, light switches at accessible level and close to the bed and space alongside the bed to allow for lateral transfer. Vibrating alarms are available. The en suite bathrooms in the accessible rooms include lowered sinks and mirrors and emergency pull cords. The toilets have support rails and space for lateral transfers and the shower have a built-in seat and support rails.

Directions
By Air: The hotel is approximately one mile (1.6 km) west of London City Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport and the journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 5 minutes. Currently, at London City Airport, 12 airlines service 31 cities, including 5 key hubs: Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Zurich. By Public Transport: The hotel is directly opposite Royal Victoria station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). It is the terracotta building with the Crowne Plaza logo. When leaving the station, cross the road and continue to the passage in between the residential flats (currently being constructed). This will lead you to the waterside, where you will find the main entrance of the hotel on the left-hand side. By Car (from London City Airport): - Exit the airport towards the airport roundabout. - Take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. - At the 2nd roundabout, take the 1st exit. - At the third roundabout, take the 3rd exit. - Continue on this road, following the signs to ExCeL West. - At the 4th roundabout, take the 3rd exit into the ExCeL complex. - This will lead you to the hotel car park.
