The management and staff welcome you to the award winning Grand Hotel, also known as 'The White Palace'. Standing imperiously at the west end of King Edward's Parade and dominating the shore line.
This magnificent 19th century hotel has been sympathetically restored and modernised by Elite Hotels to meet 21st century requirements. The luxury 5-star accommodation, with 152 rooms - many having views of the sea - provides the ideal base for touring Sussex or simply enjoying the superb leisure facilities and gourmet restaurants within the hotel. The exceptional Conference suites can be adapted to meet the needs of business meetings and banquets large or small and are the perfect setting for civil weddings and receptions.
Eastbourne has numerous attractions such as the theatre, tennis, golf, castles, gardens, Sovereign Harbour and the towering cliffs of Beachy Head. Along the coast there is Brighton with its Pavilion and the gentle rolling Downs with its fascinating villages and spectacular scenery. The Grand Hotel has road links to the M23, M25, Gatwick Airport and a fast train service to London.

Please note that the hotel is totally no smoking. This extends to all bedrooms, function rooms and public areas. Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket or tie for dinner in both restaurants.
All rooms have private bathroom and are inclusive of morning newspaper and residential Health Club membership. All bedrooms are served by 24 hour room service.
The deluxe rooms are both cosy and individual. They are beautifully decorated and furnished in-keeping with the character of The Grand.

The Garden Restaurant is totally dedicated to the highest ideals of traditional English cuisine, with some modern touches. The Mirabelle Restaurant brings you totally modern food, highly praised in the The Good Food Guide. The 8 out of 10 rating was equalled or bettered by only 14 other restaurants in the country The Garden Restaurant is open daily and the Mirabelle is open from Tuesday to Saturday. Advance booking is essential and gentlemen must wear a jacket or tie for dinner. Children aged between 3 and 12 years (inclusive) can receive traditional 'High Tea' when purchasing breakfast. Children aged between 13 and 16 years (inclusive) can receive a 50% discount in the restaurants when purchasing breakfast.
The Grand is 47 miles from the M25, and there are two possible routes: -Route A: Follow signs on the M25 for M23 (Gatwick Airport / Brighton). Take the M23 / A23 towards Brighton. Then take the A27 Polegate and then the A22 to Eastbourne. Follow signs to the Seafront (West). Turn right towards the western end of the front. The Grand is situated opposite the Western Lawns. -Route B: Take Junction 6 (Godstone) from the M25. Then take the A22 which leads directly to Eastbourne. Follow signs to the Seafront (West).
