Orles Barn is a short walk over the river from the market town of Ross-on-Wye. It has easy access to main routes around the Wye Valley.
The property is run by an enthusiastic husband-and-wife team and you are assured a warm welcome and a relaxing, comfortable stay. There is an enclosed, sunny garden over an acre long.

The rooms at Orles Barn are named after local (often long forgotten) varieties of apple, including Siddington Russet, Molly Delicious and Annie Elizabeth. Please Note: The bed will be set up as a double unless you request a twin set-up at time of booking. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and made with fresh linen. Tea, coffee, still and sparkling water are all in your room, as well as complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.
This room is called Orange Pippin and because it is in the 14th century section of the property it has its own private bathroom across the corridor. There is a colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities as well as complimentary still/sparkling water.
There are 2 superior rooms which, like the other rooms, are named after local (often long forgotten) varieties of apple; these are named Ruby Jon and Charles Ross. They are in the 17th century section of the building and therefore have the original oak beams running through them which means taller guests will need to duck! Please Note: The bed will be set up as a double unless you request a twin set-up at time of booking. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and made with fresh linen. The rooms are larger than the others and overlook the garden to the rear of Orles Barn. They have LCD TVs with DVD players and Freeview and complimentary still/sparkling water. In addition, there are toiletries provided in the room.

Called Bardsey Island, this room is set on the ground floor. It is accessed from outside the building as it is at the far end of Orles Barn (to the right, as you look at the picture). You can park directly outside the room, making it of particular benefit to those not wanting to take the stairs to the first floor. The room has an en suite bathroom with handheld shower and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Please Note: The bed will be set up as a double unless you request a twin set-up at time of booking. Called Pixie Apple, this room is set in the 17th century section of Orles Barn. It faces the rear of the barn and overlooks the garden. As its name suggests, it is a smaller room than the others and has an en suite shower room but no bath. It has a colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities as well as complimentary still/sparkling water. There is Wi-Fi connectivity in this room.
All our dishes are freshly homemade and most reflect the local produce and current season. This allows us to offer a balanced selection of the finest food from around the area. The restaurant overlooks the sunny gardens.
The hotel is situated approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) straight from the end of the M50 motorway. By Car: - At the end of the M50, follow signs to the A40 Monmouth. - At the roundabout with the BP petrol station (3rd from the M50), take the immediate turning after the petrol station and before the A40 (you will see a small sign to Orles Barn). - Around 90 metres from junction on the left is Orles Barn car park. Please note, at no stage should you follow any signs into the town of Ross-on-Wye
