About Manor Of Groves Hotel Golf & Country Club hotel

We are a beautiful and historic country house hotel, situated in 150 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, a unique venue for weddings, conferences, weekend breaks and leisure holidays.

Our hotel is a beautifully restored Georgian manor house that offers a number of bedrooms, including executive and four-poster rooms, all of which house marble bathrooms.

There a number of amenities available such as the La Brasserie restaurant which features dining in a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere. Our state-of-the-art wellness and leisure centre includes a 20 metre swimming pool, a spa, a jacuzzi, a techno-gym and a solarium. Beauty treatments are available in our luxurious treatment rooms. The 18-hole championship par 71 golf course is designed around the hotel, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience, regardless of handicap.

By road from the South From London take the m11 to junction 7 and then the a414, following the signs to Harlow first and then Bishops Storford. At the fifth roundabout take the a1184 heading towards Sawbridgeworth in a northerly direction before turning left at the sign to High Wych. Once in the village turn right by the village green and Half Moon public house (signposted Manor of Groves) and the wrought iron gates to the estate will be seen after 200 yards on the left hand side. By Road from the North Take the M11 to junction 8 following signs for Bishops Stortford then Sawbridgeworth. Once through Sawbridgeworth travelling southwards turn right for High Wych. Once in the village turn right by the village green and Half Moon public house (signposted Manor of Groves) and the wrought iron gates to the estate will be seen after 200 yards on the left hand side. By Rail From Liverpool Street Station, London. There are two trains every half hour, and the journey time is approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Take the Cambridge or Bishops Stortford train and leave the train at Harlow town or Sawbridgeworth station. There is a taxi rank service (journey time from Harlow town station to Manor of Groves is approximately 10 minutes). By Air Stansted Airport is only 15 minutes from the Manor of Groves. Flights to all major European destinations are serviced from here and further upgrades and longer haul routes are soon to be put in place. Heathrow Airport is approximately 50 miles and Gatwick approximately 55 miles away. Journey times from these 2 airports by car is approximately 1 hour.
