With its patio terrace, the Metz is an informal setting in which to enjoy a drink or some food. Metz is open from 18:00 to 23:00 weekends and offers a bar service and a snack menu from 19:00 to 21:00. From Monday to Friday, dinner is available in the hotel’s table d'hôte restaurant in the manor house. Breakfast is served in the manor house and is available from 07:00 to 09:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 10:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that due to private functions, dinner may be served in an alternative restaurant; please contact the property directly for further details. Please note that there will be limited facilities available throughout December, due to functions taking place. On some evenings, the meals on offer may be limited to bar snacks and room service only.
Travelling Southbound on the m3, exit at Junction 11 to Winchester b3335. At traffic lights turn left to Twyford/Bishops Waltham. Past Twyford turn left onto b2177 to Bishops Waltham then follow signs to Wickham b2177. Pass through Waltham Chase and at the small cross roads turn left into Upper Church Road, signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. After 400 yards you reach a junction and turn left. The entrance is on the left after 100 yards. Travelling Westbound from Portsmouth on the M27, exit at Junction 10 signposted Alton A32. Follow these signs until you reach roundabout at Wickham. Turn Left onto B2177 signposted Bishops Waltham. After 2 miles turn right signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. The entrance to New Place is 800 yards on the left. Travelling Eastbound from Southampton on the M27, exit at Junction 7 signposted Hedge End A334. Follow signs to Botley. Drive through the town and follow signs to Wickham A334 for about 3 miles. At the T-junction turn left onto B2177 signposted Bishops Waltham and immediately right signposted Shirrell Heath/Swanmore/New Place. The entrance to New Place is 800 yards on the left.
