Dinan is an old medieval walled town situated deep in the estuary of the River Rance, which opens out on to the Emerald Coast between Dinard and Saint-Malo. Today, the town still stands, surrounded by the oldest and most extensive ramparts in Brittany. The city is also the ideal place for a stopover or break when exploring the Pays de Rance and Emerald Coast and for visiting some of the major tourist attractions in the area.

From St-Brieuc: - Take the N176. - Take the exit signposted Exit Z.I. Dinan. - Turn right after the stop sign. - And take the 1st street on your right hand side. From the city centre: - Head towards Ploubalay. - And turn left between the Baobab garden centre and Maze.
