The 'Common' is a favourite rendezvous point, renowned as one of the finest restaurants in the area. With its elegant ambiance and peaceful outlook, this 2 AA Rosette award winning restaurant is the perfect setting for a relaxed lunch or sumptuous dinner. During the summer months you can also enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace, overlooking Cannizaro Park. Picnic hampers can be arranged on request.
By Car: - Take the A3. - Take the Tibbets Corner roundabout exit onto the A219 towards Wimbledon. - Just past an old fountain on the right, turn right onto Cannizaro Road. - Take the second turning on the right onto Westside Common. - Cannizaro House is 50 yards further along on the left. By Train/Tube: - Take the mainline or underground to Wimbledon. There is a taxi rank outside the station. There is also a courtesy bus to Wimbledon on weekdays from 07:30 - 09:30 and other times by prior arrangement. By Air: From Heathrow Airport: - Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington. - Then, take the underground to Wimbledon. - Then, as above. From Gatwick Airport: - Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria. - Then, take the underground to Wimbledon. - Then, as above.
