About Louisa Lodge & Purbeck House Hotel hotel
Nestled amid extensive gardens in central Swanage, less than 300 metres from the seafront, this hotel combines traditional country house atmosphere with modern amenities.
All of the en suite accommodation offers either sea or garden views, and is divided between the main Purbeck House (constructed in 1875) and the recently built Louisa Lodge, which sits mere metres away.
Occupying 3.5 acres of land, the grounds and site buildings incorporate many artifacts acquired from London by George Burt, one of the founders of the Mowlem construction company and the house’s creator.
With a large car park, and both a restaurant and bar in the main house, this is an excellent base from which to explore Swanage and the sights of the Jurassic Coast, with Bournemouth just 24 km (15 miles) away.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 2 years is charged GBP 10.00 per night and person in a baby cot. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Directions
From Wareham, follow the a351 to Corfe Castle and then to Swanage Town Centre. This road becomes Victoria Avenue, follow it towards the sea front and then, 50 yards before you get to the sea, turn right at the traffic lights and left at the roundabout into Station Road. Follow the one way system round before turning left into the High Street after the White Swan Public House. Purbeck House Hotel is 100 yards up on the left.
