The Ardagh is situated on the edge of the scenic Connemara. All rooms are individually decorated and some overlook the bay.
The award winning restaurant specialises in lobster, seafood, homegrown vegetables, complimented by an excellent wine list. The lively town of Clifden is only 2km away and Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the Alcock and Brown landing site are all close by the hotel.

Our restaurant, situated on the first floor, has been the recipient of many accolades from the AA (2 Rosettes) and 3 RAC Restaurant Awards. With its magnificent sea views and spectacular sunsets, it has a bright modern atmosphere and is personally supervised by owner-chef Stephane and Monique Bauvet. The restaurant specialises in lobster from our own sea tank, locally caught seafood, salt lake oysters, prime meats and home-grown vegetables. Our menu is changed daily as fresh produce is used at all times. Great attention to detail, complimented by an extensive wine list, makes dining here an unforgettable culinary experience.
Clifden, the 'Capital of Connemara', is 3 km from the hotel.
