The Walton Guest House is a privately run bed-and-breakfast hotel in Edinburgh city centre. Its central location, free Wi-Fi and good breakfast will suit all types of traveller.
Set in the heart of the New Town area, Walton Guest House is very comfortable and has good quality facilities. Princes Street is a 10-minute walk away. Waverley Train Station and St Andrews Bus Station are about 10 minutes’ walk away.
Each of the 10 rooms has recently been decorated and has private en suite facilities.

This gorgeous garden flat is centrally located and is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the Walton Guest House and approximately 15 minutes' walk from the city centre. The flat has been fully refurbished and tastefully decorated. The flat can accommodate up to 8 people. There are 3 double bedrooms and one pull-out sofa bed. There is also a sunny lounge with French doors leading to a small private garden. The flat has 2 bathrooms, one bathroom is one of the rooms’ own en suite bathroom and the other has a shower and a luxurious freestanding bath. The apartment has full gas central heating and metered on-street parking available at an additional cost, right outside the apartment. Please note the separate terms and conditions for this flat.
Check-in time is between 5:00 pm and before 8:00 pm: Please pick up your keys at The Walton 79 Dundas St., Edinburgh EH3 6SD before 8:00 pm. With out advance notice of late arrival we guarantee the flat only until 8:00pm. Checkout time is 11:00am. The nearest NCP parking is at St James Centre, which can be found at the East End of Princes St. . Please see the separate terms and conditions.
Breakfast is served Monday to Friday between 8am - 9am and weekends from 8:30am - 9:30am. Our breakfast offers traditional Scottish breakfasts with a selection of grilled and cooked foods, as well as a variety of fresh continental breakfast choices. The hotel offers vegetarian food for those who prefer a vegetarian breakfast menu. Please note on the 1st January there will be no cooked breakfast, instead we will deliver a packed breakfast to your room.
Coming from the west, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the West End of Princes Street. Princes Street is closed to traffic travelling east, so follow the flow of traffic down onto Queen Street and then take a left at Queen Street Gardens East, which changes into Dundas Street after a short distance. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down. From the east, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the East End of Princes Street. Travel west on Princes Street and turn right on to Hanover Street. At Queen Street Gardens East Havnover Street changes into Dundas Street. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down.
