The Rising Sun is a delightful country hotel, restaurant and public house, close to the top of Cleeve Hill, the highest point in the Cotswolds (near Cheltenham).
Cleeve Hill has superb views across Cheltenham to the Malvern Hills, and many of the comfortable en suite bedrooms at The Rising Sun have similar panoramic views.
The restaurant, bar and heated garden terrace all offer seasonal modern and traditional British dishes. To drink, there are real ales, wines and speciality teas/coffees.
The Rising Sun is ideal for the historic spa town of Cheltenham, as well as Winchcombe and many pretty Cotswold villages.

Due to its location, the hotel is split level and has a number of stairs.
There are 18 attractively furnished en suite double/twin bedrooms, most of which have spectacular views across the Severn Vale. They have been traditionally furnished and all have full facilities.
The restaurant, bar and heated garden terrace all offer a seasonal menu, with a wide selection of modern and traditional British favourites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks, complemented by a selection of real ales, carefully selected wines, speciality teas and coffees. For parties of 50 people or more The Rising Sun Hotel is happy to offer exclusive use of the restaurant. The chef can prepare dining choices covering options from a stand-up buffet to a grand banquet to suit your needs and budget. Touring Parties (including golf, walking, driving and cycling) catered for.
By Car: From all directions: - Take the M5. - Exit at junction 10 (from the north) or junction 11 (from the south). - Follow signs through Cheltenham to Prestbury. - Take the B4632 towards Winchcombe and you will find the hotel on the right, approximately 2 miles from the village of Prestbury.
