Situated on the Eastern Esplanade, the main seafront road from Margate to Broadstairs, we overlook the beautiful Oval Garden of the Queens Promenade, which overlooks the sea below.
Eastern Esplanade is a wide road and part of a principal cliff top thoroughfare. As a result, the hotel enjoys good and uninterrupted sea views from the guest lounge and all the suites. Being a family-run, small hotel, we serve only fresh home-cooked food of the highest standard, prepared by the in-house cook.
Our Leisure Suite is highly recommended because of its uniqueness and individuality in Margate. It boasts a sauna, hot tub with hydrotherapy. The small gym is equipped with varieties of body toning machines and is free. There are changing rooms, and a sunbed in the solarium. Our tranquil back garden is small and private, and features an outdoor jacuzzi and a fountain.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

A charge 80 GBP is made for the replacement of lost keys. In the case of a genuine emergency after checking-in that prevents you from completing your stay, a refund will be issued, subject to an adminstration fee of either 50% of the total reservation cost or 50 GBP (whichever is the greater).

In addition to the facilities already listed (see below) the room has a TV with Sky channels and a Freeview box; and a private, direct telephone line. There is a wireless internet connection available, but the connection is better in the bar and lounge.

This suite has a stylish four-poster bed and sea views across the Oval Garden of the Queens Promenade, where a band usually plays on Sunday mornings.
This family suite (room 7) was formerly the bridal suite, with all the fine facilities still in place. There is a double bed and another double bed with a single bunk bed on top. The room can sleep up to 7 people, with the addition of 2 extra beds. There is a chargeable private telephone line (on request) and fantastic sea views. In addition to the facilities already listed (see below) the room has a Freeview box. Please note there are no facilities for babies, but you may bring your own baby facilities.
This twin room has 2 single beds for single/double occupancy, and an en suite shower and WC. The room also has a TV with Sky channels and a Freeview box; a private, direct telephone line; and a wireless internet connection is available (but better in bar and lounge). There are no sea views from this room.
Sea view accross the Queens Promenade. If you are lucky the band may be playing in the oval garden. Health Suites, Sauna, Spa and Gym in hotel at reduced charges for our guests.
