The Lyncombe Lodge Hotel has a quiet, unique location, on the same site as the Avon Ski & Action Centre. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the centre provides a wide range of outdoor activities and guests of the hotel are entitled to a 20% discount on most of the facilities. You can also explore the many footpaths directly outside the hotel and admire the stunning views over the Mendip Hills and the countryside and woodland beyond.
Just off the A38/A368 and only 5.5 miles (9km) from Bristol International Airport, the hotel is a great choice for a quiet and relaxing getaway or for a more active break. With 14 en suite bedrooms and good conference facilities, the hotel is also excellent for business people looking for a change from the usual anonymous hotel.

There are 4 chalets, situated at the side of the hotel, overlooking the woodland and the Mendip Hills. Each of these comfortable and homely chalets has one double bed. With a little additional privacy, the chalets offer a cosy and relaxing retreat. Dogs are welcome to stay in the chalets (at an additional cost).

Modern, but still very much in keeping with the style of the rest of the lodge, each of these superior rooms has a private balcony overlooking the surrounding woodland.
The hotel's bar and restaurant offers a relaxed and informal setting in which to enjoy the kitchen's fine cuisine. All meals are locally sourced and are freshly prepared on site. Those with special dietary needs can be accommodated by prior request. The extensive wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal. The restaurant is open throughout the week, excluding Sunday evenings. The kitchen can also cater for larger parties for any occasion.
By Air: Lyncombe Lodge Hotel is approximately 5.5 miles (9 km) from Bristol International Airport. The hotel can help arrange taxis for you if necessary. By Car (from Bristol): - Follow signs to the airport (A38). - Pass the airport on the right and continue along the A38 until you reach thetraffic lights at Churchill. - Turn right at the lights (following the signs towards the Avon Ski Centre). - Follow the A368 for approximately 1 mile (1.6 km), until you reach the Avon Ski Centre on the right. - The hotel is approximately 500 metres from the main road. By Car (from junction 21 of the M5 motorway): - Follow the signs to Banwell. - From the centre of Banwell, take a left turn, following the signs for Bristol A368 (follow the brown signs towards the Avon Ski Centre). - Follow the A368 through Sandford, until you see sign on the right - the hotel is approx 500 metres from the main road.
