The hotel has 18 rooms, with an additional 4 suites available for that extra luxury. All rooms are en suite and a large percentage have historical characteristics such as exposed beams, original leaded windows and uneven floorboards - this creates a charm that takes you back centuries.

The suite has a separate bedroom with four-poster bed, a large bathroom with shower, living/dining room equipped with a 32-inch flat-screen TV and Freeview TV. The suite also has a wood burning stove in the living area for those cold winter evenings. Situated in a separate annexe of the hotel, the suites have a private garden area and private parking separate to the main hotel.

The Conservatory & Patio: Bar snacks and refreshments are available in our conservatory which overlooks our seated patio area and gardens. The cities of Cardiff, Bristol, Gloucester and Hereford are all within 45 minutes by car, and nearby areas of outstanding natural beauty include the Royal Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons National Park. At Symonds Yat West and within walking distance of the River Wye with boat trips, and host of other tourist attractions, including the Jubilee Maze.
