This charming detached Victorian villa has undergone considerable refurbishment during 2008 and 2009 and now offers elegant 4-star guest accommodation, free parking and a peaceful, relaxing setting.
The Southbourne Villa has received an entry in Britain’s Best Bed & Breakfast Guide 2007 and 2008 in recognition of the quality of its accommodation.
The Villa has a great location, in a quiet conservation area, away from the busy main roads and close to Torre Abbey and the Riviera International Conference and Leisure Centre.
For total relaxation, there is an open-air garden hot-tub spa (open from June until September). It is set on a lit sun deck with loungers and sun beds, screened with lit Torbay palm trees.
On a warm day or evening, you can relax on the south-facing patio, sun deck and terrace, which is accessed via the newly refurbished lounge.
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the villa.

In the event of a check-out on a date which is earlier than the planned check-out date, 48 hours' notification is required by Southbourne Villa. Late notification will mean that you are still liable for the total cost of your initial reservation. Please note that weekends, public holidays and trade fairs are subject to minimum-night-stay requirements and therefore part cancellation cannot take the number of nights to below this minimum requirement under any circumstances. Other information: Please note that Soutbourne Villa does not offer accommodation to those under the age of 11, nor does it accommodate pets, wedding groups, stag/hen parties, honeymoon couples or group bookings. A group booking is a booking in excess of 2 rooms. If bookings of this nature are made in an underhand manner, the booking will be cancelled without refund. The Southbourne Villa is not licensed to sell alcohol, though guests may bring their own refreshments. The hotel will make additional charges if the non-smoking policy is broken.

You can expect extremely comfortable beds dressed in quality linen and soft fluffy towels as well as remote control 30 channel digital TV with audio channels and DVD/CD player, as well as an alarm clock and a host of complementary toiletries and accessories. From the M5: - Take the A380 and follow signs for Torquay. - Join the A3022 (Newton Road) and continue until you reach Torre Station and Halfords. - At these lights, turn right onto Avenue Road. - Take the 4th left into Vine Road and turn right at the top into Cleveland Road. The Southbourne Villa is approximately 300 yards on your left. Look out for our large blue oval signs. Ample private parking is provided within the grounds of the villa, including a designated disabled parking bay.
