Spectacularly located on the waterfront in the historic town of Kinsale. The hotel is privately owned with a friendly, yet professional atmosphere.
Kinsale is one of Ireland's most picturesque towns; it is steeped in history and has a charming old world atmosphere. Golf, deep sea fishing, horse-riding and sailing are just some of the many activities available locally.
There are also a host of places of interest to visit in the locality of the Trident Hotel, as well as a great selection of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the town.

In 2004 the hotel carried out extensive refurbishment, upgrading all facilities to a 4-star standard.

The hotel's award-winning Pier One Restaurant is a member of Kinsale's Good Food Circle and was awarded an AA Rosette and 2 RAC Dining awards for 2004 - so you are assured of enjoying excellent food during your stay. The Wharf Tavern is a lively bar which is very popular with local clients especially for the daily Carvery Lunch and Evening Bistro Style Menu. Bar food is available here from 12:00 - 21:00 daily.
To Kinsale from Cork Airport: At the Airport Roundabout take the exit for Kinsale/R600 i.e. 3rd exit and continue on this route. Kinsale is approximately 20km - you will pass through the villages of Riverstick and Belgooly before arring in kinsale. The Trident is located on the water's edge at the end of the Pier Road (on the R600). To Kinsale from Cork City: Follow signs to Cork Airport. At the Airport Roundabout continue straight ahead (2nd exit) on the R600, from here follow the directions as from Cork Airport above.
