After extensive refurbishment, the property offers twelve individual en suite bedrooms with charming public rooms and combines Victorian elegance and tasteful decor with all the modern comforts of a good hotel. The hotel has been awarded five diamonds by both the AA and the RAC and won 'Best Hotel' in our category by Which? Hotel Guide 2005.

All the rooms have shower or bath and shower en suite, colour television, direct dial telephone with wake-up service and wireless broadband access, beverage tray, hairdryer, fresh flowers and magazines.

The public rooms include an elegant drawing room, dining room, a stunning conservatory and adjacent garden terrace. An interesting wine list has been prepared in liaison with a leading West Country wine merchant.

In addition to the formal gardens and croquet lawn, the seven acres include a meadow park extending down to the Kennet and Avon canal - perfect for the morning stroll.

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 8.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
