All rooms are non-smoking. Ground floor rooms are available and there are several rooms on the first floor. Please inform the hotel of any special requirements as the hotel does not have a lift.
All 29 individually styled bedrooms are en suite and feature a range of facilities. Please see individual room descriptions for a complete list of facilities on offer. Sofa beds, z-beds and cots are available on request.
Each room has one double bed and is more spacious than an Executive room.
Executive double/twin rooms have one double bed or 2 twin single beds. Please inform the hotel of your preference on the day of booking, either by using the comments field when making your reservation or by contacting the hotel directly, using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email. If you do not inform the hotel of your preference regarding bed types on the day of booking, then beds will be allocated according to availability.
The rate also includes a 3-course dinner on 1 evening.
The Kings Room restaurant is situated on the first floor and offers a set menu featuring fresh local produce. It is open Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 21:30. Sunday lunch is available from 12:00 to 14:30. It is also available for private functions and events Berties Bistro on the ground floor offers a modern contemporary feel with a brasserie style menu. It is open daily serving breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The historic Angel Bar with its inglenook fireplace offers cosy surroundings for pre-dinner drinks.
By Car The hotel is situated in Grantham town centre, within easy reach of the A1 and the main London to Edinburgh railway line. From the airports: Nottingham East Midlands Airport is approximately 45 minutes away, and Birmingham International Airport is approximately 1.5 hours away.
