Perfectly located in the heart of the countryside and set in 30 acres of stunning gardens, woodlands and meadows, Great Trethew Manor is ideally placed to explore Cornwall and Devon.
Guests may wish to take woodland and garden walks in the beautiful grounds, which host a diverse range of wildlife.
The grounds of Great Trethew Manor boast a hard tennis court, fish ponds, a trout lake, croquet lawn and barbecue area. Pony riding or trekking on the grounds are available on special request.
Each of the rooms are complimented by antique furniture and a TV. Rooms have en suite bathrooms and some of the rooms have four-poster beds with baths. Free wi-fi internet access is available.
The hotel's inviting restaurant offers an extensive and varied à la carte menu with exotic steaks, including zebra, bison and springbok. Guests will relax in the cosy surroundings with log fire, flag stoned floor and beamed ceilings.

Our self catering cottages are only 1-minute walk from the hotel. They are approximately 200 years old and used to be the stables. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, one double and one room with bunk beds, together with a shower room upstairs. Downstairs is a lounge/dining room. All cottages offer the facilities listed in "room descriptions" as well as kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Each cottage has 2 bedrooms - one double and one room with bunk-beds - together with a shower room upstairs. Downstairs is a lounge/dining room. Enjoy a ‘Murder Mystery Showbiz Party’ on the night of Saturday 6 December only. This will include accommodation in a double bedroom and a full English breakfast in the morning. The price is for 2 people sharing a double room. You will receive tea/coffee and a mince pie by the roaring log fires on arrival. The night’s entertainment starts with a cocktail around 19:00 in the lounge, followed by a 4-course meal and an evening of entertainment by C B Productions.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week, from 18:30 to 21:00. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 09:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a large buffet breakfast table, followed by a generous full cooked English breakfast.
