This unique Japanese guest house is family-run, cosy and homely, around 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and 15 minutes from Hastings Beach.
The fun and relaxed Le Chateau Japonais offers a Japanese-style environment. Indulgent, deep Jacuzzi baths and fresh fruit are in each luxurious en suite room.
There is an outdoor, heated Japanese-style spa pool (Rotenburo), made of natural river rocks. At night you can float and relax in the warm water, with a glass of wine and a view of the stars.
Beauport Park golf course in St Leonards-on-Sea, and Sedlescombe golf club, are less than 10 minutes from the guest house.

Each room has its own whirlpool jacuzzi, specially modelled to resemble the style of the deep Japanese baths commonly found in Japanese bathrooms (Ofuro). Three of the rooms also have a separate walk-in shower. Each room is unique, with its own individual charm.
One French double bed with a very comfortable Tempur mattress, especially designed by Nasa. Some rooms have a sofa bed that can be unfolded to accommodate an extra person. The rooms also have a TV with Freeview digital channels and JSTV(Japanese satellite channels).
Each of these suites has 2 twin single beds with very comfortable Tempur-Pedic memory-foam mattresses, originally developed especially by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). No sofa beds or extra beds are available in these rooms. Rooms also have TVs with Freeview digital channels and JSTV(Japanese satellite channels).
A full English breakfast is available at an additional cost and by prior request. If you would like breakfast, please notify the staff on arrival or you can request this on the day of booking, using the comments field when making your reservation, or you can contact the guest house directly, using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email.
By Train: The guest house is just 5 minutes’ walk from Hastings Railway Station. There are regular trains between Hastings and London Charing Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street, with the journey taking about an hour and a half. It takes an hour from London Victoria Railway Station. By Eurostar: The guest house is 50 minutes by train and one hour by car from Ashford International Railway Station. Ashford offers easy connections to Paris, Lille, and Brussels. By Air: The guest house is approximately 40 miles (65 km) from London Gatwick Airport. Trains run regularly from the airport to Hastings, with a journey time of about an hour. Parking: There is free on-street parking in the roads around the guest house from 16:00 to 11:00, Monday to Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Permits for daytime parking are available for guests who would like to stay more than one night.
