Consisting of 3 Grade II listed Georgian buildings, the hotel is situated in a pretty tree lined conservation area only a short stroll from the city centre.
Opened as a private hotel in the 1930's by Mr WD Gibbs, the hotel has been owned and operated by the present owners David and Jill Reynolds for the past 21 years, over which time it has been continually upgraded and now provides a high level of comfort, with every effort being made to make you feel relaxed and at home.
Standing in 3 acres of landscaped gardens, with ample car parking, the hotel remains a quiet retreat from the bustle of the 'Fine City' of Norwich.

All rooms are comfortable and offer all modern facilities, but the superior rooms include a jacuzzi spa bath and minibar and are more spacious, making them ideal for that special weekend away.

With 2 AA Rosettes for its high standard of cuisine, the Conservatory Restaurant, which overlooks the water gardens, has a Mediterranean atmosphere created by lighting and furnishings imported from throughout Europe. There is always a tempting selection of dishes, from modern British to traditional English cuisine, as well as a hot breakfast that is cooked to order. A conference room is situated on the ground floor, with ample natural light, which is ideal for smaller groups of up to 18. Please note breakfasts booked in advance are charged at a reduced rate per person, compared to those purchased on the day.
By Car: - Take the A11 until you reach Newmarket Road. - Follow the signs to the city centre, and you will find the hotel on the right-hand side, half a mile from the city centre. By Plane: The nearest airport is Norwick Airport, 6 km from the hotel.
