Restaurants and Bars

The bar is set in the oldest part of the hotel and features a real log fire and exposed stone walls. It serves an extensive and reasonably priced wine list with at least 10 wines available by the glass. The current draught range consists of Carlsberg, Stella, Hoegaarden, Marsdens Smooth, Banks Cask (subject to availability), Guinness and Strongbow. The lounge is open throughout the day for real coffees, drinks and light snacks. Head chef Fred and his team pride themselves in using freshly cooked local and seasonal produce wherever possible. They seek to delight you with delicious, well presented food in a relaxing atmosphere. Booking is strongly advised, especially at weekends and during busy periods.

The Beansheaf is situated on the main A169 between Pickering and Malton. If you are coming from the South (Malton) you will find the hotel situated on the left-hand side, directly after the left hand turn-off signed to Flamingo Land and Kirby Misperton.
