Set between Bath and Cheltenham, the Royal Oak is an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Westonbirt Arboretum, Gatcombe Park and Badminton are all within a 15 minute drive.

Offering varied and enticing cuisine, prepared using the very best of local ingredients wherever possible, the menu blends traditional home-cooked British dishes, Mediterranean plates and daily specials. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let the inn know in advance so they can offer appealing alternatives to the standard menu. Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 09:30 weekdays and 08:00 to 10.00 at weekends. The ancient cellars of the Royal Oak and skills of the cellar man ensure that wines and real ales are stored and served to perfection.
By Car: From the South, West or East via the M4: - Exit at junction 18. - Head north on the A46 towards Stroud. - After approx 5 miles, just past Petty France, turn right onto the A433, signposted for Tetbury. From the Midlands and North via the M5: - Exit at junction 13. - Head east towards Stroud on the A419. - On approaching Stroud centre follow signs onto A46 for Bath. - After approximately 5 miles (having passed through Nailsworth) turn left at traffic lights onto the A4135. - Travel a further 2 miles to Tetbury. From Tetbury Town centre (by car or on foot) From the ancient Market Hall: - Take the Cirencester Road (just to the left of the Snooty Fox Hotel) towards the Chipping car park. - Follow the road down and round a double bend. - The Royal Oak is on your right adjacent to the long term car park.
