Just off the A4 in peaceful countryside, 8 miles from the M4, this 17th century inn has recently undergone a major transformation to offer excellent refreshment, food and accommodation.

The dining room can seat up to 80 people. The menu is based on modern English and European cuisine, with an excellent range of light dishes and main meals available at lunchtimes. An à la carte menu is available in the evenings and there is a choice of 3 different types of roast dinner on Sundays. The dining room at The Pelican is open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:30, Monday to Saturday, and for dinner from 18:00 to 21:00. Sunday lunch is served from 12:00 to 18:00. The bar is open from 11:00 to 23:00, Monday to Saturday, and from 12:00 to 19:00 on Sundays. For residents, breakfast is available, Monday to Friday, between 07:30 and 09:00. On Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast is available from 08:30 to 09:30.
