The hotel Alfa belongs to the Hotelleriesuisse and count here in Birsfelden to the oldest hotel in town. The town Birsfelden is very close to Basel. Basel Town is just 200 meters from our hotel. With the tram, next to our door and within 5 minutes you get to the city centre of Basel and 15 minutes to the Fair Ground and Exhibition Centre . By car you can get to all destinations in the region of Basel very soon.

All rooms have bath / shower , toilette, TV, radio alarm clock, telephone, hair dryer, and a analogue connection with a modem and a minibar. Stylish arrangements : Single room, big single bed, double room and a room with twin beds…. If you would like to have a third or a fourth bed in the room there is no problem because there is an enough space. Your table is ready: At the breakfast buffet you can have a lot of wonderful things like fruit-juices, fresh bread, fresh croissant, different sort of chees, ham and eggs. Nice gestures: If you have something to do here in Basel because of business, you could invite a new business contact for breakfast at the ALFA.
Gourmet menu, French kitchen or better vegetarian food, all is possible. The kitchen cooks with fresh products and this you can see in our menu. The supply depends on the season and so it’s every time different and special. We have many different chooses on our menu and our wine card is very special and international.
400 meters to the connection of the highway A2 and the tram station is in front of the hotel. The ride to the airport takes only 20 minutes, to our three international railway stations you can get in a few minutes. What more you want? The ride by the tram to the exhibition takes 15 minutes and to the City Centre 5 minutes. There you have a big culture supply. If you need a change and want to go to the fresh air, you have to drive only 5 minutes by car.
