In addition to 17 beautifully-decorated guestrooms, the Royal Ettrick Hotel features a light-filled Conservatory Bistro, serving a full menu throughout the day and restaurant dining in the evening. In the summer months, al fresco dining is available in the private garden.

The Conservatory Restaurant and International Bar were fully refurbishment in July 2008. The hotel now offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day. The International Bar blends true Scottish character with a traditional pub feel. It serves a wide selection of drinks to residents and locals.

By Car: From Princes Street, Edinburgh: - Turn up Lothian Road. - At the Tollcross junction, go right past the Cameo Cinema. - Turn right at the Kings Theatre (past Mr Boni's). - Continue along Gilmore Place which becomes Polwarth Gardens. The hotel is on the left-hand side behind the bowling green. By Bus: The hotel is on the number 10 bus route, which has a 20-minute service. By Train: Waverley Train Station is less than 1.5 miles away. By Air: Edinburgh Airport only 5.5 miles away.
