Mardale Guest House is in the quiet, residential Brunstsfield area, 1 mile (1.6 km) south-west of Edinburgh city centre. Walk through the Meadows to the historic Royal Mile.
The Victorian terraced villa retains much of its original charm and features. All bedrooms are different and have their own character.
Frequent buses run from nearby to Princes Street. A leisurely walk to the city centre will take about 20 minutes.
The Mardale is well-located for universities, the EICC, theatres, the castle and city-centre sightseeing.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Large spacious rooms, each with a double bed. Rooms sleep a maximum of 2 people. Some rooms can be made into twin rooms on request. There is one room to the front of the property and others to the rear, overlooking the private gardens.
Rooms with a high ceiling, featuring a double bed and a washbasin. Room are for a maximum of 2 people. Each room has its own private shower and toilet outside of the room.
This large attic room occupies part of the roof space and has a sloping ceiling. There is a double bed for a maximum of 2 people. There are fine views over the rooftops toward West Edinburgh. This room can be converted to a twin room on request.

Or bus no'S.11,15,16,17 To Bruntsfield Place/Viewforth- Hartington Place 3rd. On left of Viewforth. Or Taxi direct. By Road from City by-pass (A720) Take A702 towards City centre, from Bruntsfield Place (A702) turn left into Viewforth-Hartington Place 2nd. on left. From Airport; Airport bus to City centre, then Taxi or bus as from Waverley Station.
