This refurbished hotel with free Wi-Fi was built in the late 18th century. It is located on the edge of the medieval market town of Hitchin.

The hotel has 2 four-poster rooms. One has dark furniture. The other has recently been renovated with a bath, but no shower. These rooms overlook the back garden.
The front rooms all look at Bridge Street, which is the oldest part of Hitchin. These rooms are in the annexe, away from the main road.
This room has a double bed and a single bed. It can sleep a couple with a child. It has a large bathroom and is located away from the main road.
A cooked English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00. Evening meals are not provided but the hotel offers discounts of 10% or 20% at 8 of the finest restaurants in the town, all of which are within walking distance. Staff have a list of places that you can order a takeaway from. They will also provide you with plate and cutlery to use in the dining room.
