This 300-year-old large country guest house is in gardens and grounds beside Cheltenham Race Course, with en suite rooms, outstanding breakfasts and a location close to some of Cheltenham's best restaurants and bars.
Just 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from central Cheltenham, Prestbury House has clear views of the Cotswold countryside, including nearby Cleeve Hill, the regions highest point.
With croquet on the lawns in summer, and log fires in winter, Prestbury House mixes traditional relaxation with more modern facilities. Flat-screen HD TVs (with SKY) are in every bedroom and there is free Wi-Fi access throughout.
Opposite is an award-winning restaurant, the Royal Oak, dating back to the 17th century.

Important Information
When booking, you must give Prestbury House your expected check-in time. Prestbury House reception closes for check-in at 20:00 (19:00 on Sundays and public holidays). Later check-in is only possible when you contact them in advance. Prestbury House will add an additional cost to payments made by American Express cards.

The 14 rooms at Prestbury House are split between the main house and its 400-year-old coach house. All have en suite bathrooms. Whilst all have the same modern comforts, each room is different and personal, as you would expect from a family home.

Restaurants and Bars
A traditional English breakfast is cooked to order (allow 15 minutes) and can be taken either in the Georgian Room or the Oak Room. On weekdays, breakfast is served from 07:00 to 09:00. On weekends and public holidays it is served from 08:00 to 10:00. Although separate from the hotel, Prestbury House has strong links with the Royal Oak restaurant, which is just 50 metres from the main house. Here you will find an evening lounge, bar and award-winning restaurant. Alternatively, there are around 35 restaurants within 1.5 (2.4 km) of the house, as well as Cheltenham's many pubs and clubs.
Directions
By Car: - On entering Cheltenham, follow all signs for Cheltenham Racecourse and Prestbury. Prestbury House is half a mile (800 metres) from the main racecourse entrance. - At the roundabout outside the racecourse main entrance, follow signs for Prestbury via New Barn Lane. - Prestbury House is signposted left into The Burgage. Prestbury House is 200 yards (180 metres) on the right-hand side. By Air: For helicopter landing facilities, please contact the hotel.
