By Car (from London and the M25 motorway): - Take the M3 towards Southampton. - Leave the M3 at junction 14 and take the M27 motorway. - The M27 eventually becomes the A31. - Leave the A31 and take the A338 towards Bournemouth. - The A338 leads onto Wessex Way. - Follow the signs to the East Cliff and the seafront, where the Carlton is situated. By Train: Trains run regularly from London Waterloo train station to Bournemouth's central train station. The travel time of this train journey is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.
