This recently extended and refurbished traditional country pub and restaurant has a lakeside garden, roaring log fires and rooms with views of the surrounding 10 acres of countryside.
Offering calm accommodation with 1st-class dining facilities, the friendly Watersmeet Country Inn is only 5 miles (8 km) from Gloucester city centre and well placed for the motorway network.
The pub at Watersmeet has cosy flagstone floors and timber beams. There is a separate 50-seat restaurant.
All of the en suite rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and views overlooking the lakes and surrounding countryside.

The choices in the Restaurant vary from traditional English to more exotic Mediterranean, Indian and Far Eastern. In addition to a range of starters there is a selection of fish main courses as well as meat, poultry and vegetarian main courses. For those looking for something less filling than a full meal, the Watersmeet offers light meals, snacks and a children's menu. The wine list is constantly being updated and includes traditional French and German wines as well as selections from New World vineyards.
