Drive onto the A2 Maastricht-Eindhoven. On the A2 take the junction Venlo/ Grathem and you will arrive on the N273 (Napoleonsbaan). Follow this road untill junction Zaarderheiken. At Zaarderheiken take the A67 towards Venlo/Duisburg/Velden. Go over the bridge at the river Maas and take the first junction (number 40) Venlo Noord/Velden/Kasteeltuinen. At the end of the junction take a left at the traffic lights towards Velden/Kasteeltuinen. You are now on the N271. Follow this road for 14 kilometers in the northern direction. After the village Arcen you will find Hostellerie De Hamert on your left hand side, directly at the river Maas.
