The Riverside Hotel is a country hotel, bar and restaurant, near the centre of Burton on Trent. It has its own private island, fishing rights and moorings, with views of surrounding countryside.
The Riverside Hotel has comfortable lodge-style en suite bedrooms. The main building was originally a farmhouse.
The Garden Room Restaurant and Riverside Terrace both offer seasonal modern and traditional British dishes. To drink, there are real ales, wines and speciality teas/coffees.

The charming Riverside Restaurant has a reputation for excellent food, providing an à la carte menu for both lunch and dinner. The Riverside Bar-Lounge serves more informal 'light bite' options. The bar serves a wide range of speciality coffees as well as the traditional English afternoon tea.
By Car The Riverside Hotel is located on the south-west side of Burton upon Trent. This is best reached via the A38, which runs between Derby and Birmingham. From Derby: - Take the A38 southbound, past the Toyota factory and on to Burton. - Do not take the first exit to Burton upon Trent north but continue to the next exit, signposted Burton upon Trent and Branston. - Take the exit and turn left at the island, then right at the traffic lights. - Follow the road over the railway bridge, then take the next right. - Take the 2nd left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel. From Birmingham: - Take the A38 northbound past Lichfield and Barton-Under-Needwood. Turn off at the first exit for Burton upon Trent. - Turn right at the island, then right again at the next island. - Follow the road over the railway bridge then take the next right. - Take the 2nd left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel. From A50 (links from M6 and Ml): - Follow the A50 to junction 4, signposted Burton upon Trent (you will see a power station on the left-hand side), then take the A38 towards Burton. - Follow directions as from Derby. From the M42: - Leave at junction 11 and join the A444 signposted Burton upon Trent. - Keep on this road until it has passed over the River Trent, with a Tesco store at the end. - At the roundabout, at the end of this bridge, turn left towards Branston. - Follow this road for approximately 2 miles; under a small bridge and over a small island. - You will see the road rise over a small bridge just as you enter a 30 mph zone. - Turn left into Warren Lane, then take a 2nd left into Riverside Drive.
