Hotel Washington, formerly a large family house built at the beginning of the 20th century, is now a full of character, warm and friendly family hotel, located in the quiet but central Museums area.
The committed staff, the hospitality and comfortable atmosphere make of it the ideal place to get to know the fascination of the Museum quarter and of the city of Amsterdam, and often attracts international musicians who are in town to perform at the nearby concert hall.

All 22 rooms have an individual character and are decorated in a simple and charming style, in keeping with the character of the house.

By Plane: There is a shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the hotel (Connexxion Schiphol Hotel Shuttle). The service is active from 06:00 to 21:00. You can take a train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station in about 19 minutes. From the station, you can take tram number 16 or 24 to the hotel and get off at the Ruysdaelstraat stop. From here, it is just one minute's walking distance to the hotel.
