This 300-year-old country house hotel provides a friendly atmosphere, fine dining and comfortable rooms on the edge of Exmoor.
Dragon House is recommended in the '2009 Michelin Hotel & Restaurant Guide', and by The Telegraph's notoriously hard-to-please travel writer, Paddy Burt.
The welcoming hotel has real log fires and excellent service. Dine in the oak-panelled restaurant or the conservatory with views of the courtyard and gardens.

The Dragon House Hotel is on the A39 Bridgwater to Minehead road. From Taunton (M5 j25) join the A39 via the A358 at Williton. The Dragon House is on the left, adjacent to the turning to Old Cleeve, approximately 1000 yards from the Washford Steam Railway station.
