The Belfry Country Hotel has a lovely, peaceful location in the heart of the pretty Devon village of Yarcombe, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and with stunning views of the River Yarty.
The building is Grade II listed and has been carefully preserved and sensitively renovated. There are just 6 luxury en suite rooms, all of which are individually styled and decorated with their own unique charm, blending traditional features with modern comforts. Thoughtful additional touches including freshly baked goods, mineral water, CD players, luxury bathrobes and top quality towels and linens.

Fine food predominates and guests may begin the day with anything from a slice of toast to a whole side of smoked haddock, a full English breakfast or the winter special of oatmeal bruleé. Breakfast is served any time from 08:00 to 09:00. Dinner guests choose in advance from the superb menu and their meal will be freshly prepared from the finest local ingredients and served at 19:30. The Belfry is fast gaining an excellent reputation for its fine dining and its splendid wine list with both residents and locals alike. If you require dinner, please inform the hotel 24 Hours in advance, as all meals are individually prepared from fresh ingredients to order and there is one sitting for evening meals at 19:30. The restaurant can accommodate just 12 people and is open to non-residents too. Guests are advised to reserve a table should they wish to dine, in order to avoid disappointment. Please note the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
From the a303 Westbound - opposite the junction with the b3170 (right to Taunton) turn left signposted (not always visible). Yarcombe 1 mile, there is a small service station after this junction on the right. This is a single-track road, follow the road to the T-junction and turn left into Yarcombe. The Belfry Country Hotel is immediately on your right hand side, opposite the church and pub. From the A30 Eastbound - 5 miles past Honiton, after Monkton, where the road becomes the A303, turn RIGHT at the junction signposted A30 to Chard and Crewkerne. After 2 miles you will enter Yarcombe. From the M5 Southbound - Leave the motorway at Junction 25 and follow the A358 South, towards Chard and Ilminster. After 10 miles join the A303 Westbound, towards Honiton and follow directions above for A303 Westbound. From the M5 Northbound - Leave the motorway at Junction 29 and take the A30 Eastbound towards Honiton and follow the directions above for A30 Eastbound. By Rail - Honiton is the nearest mainline station and it is on the London Waterloo to Penzance line. The journey from London Waterloo is approximately 2 hours.
