"Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, charming, peaceful and quirky" - just some comments that previous guests have written about the Old Manor Hotel.
The hotel is in the countryside overlooking the historic Cotswold market town of Bradford on Avon. It is a 20-minute drive from Bath, or you can hop on the bus that stops at the end of the drive and miss the traffic.
The original Georgian Manor House with additional farm buildings provides 19 cosy en suite bedrooms, each individually furnished in unique Victorian style.
Food is freshly prepared, using seasonal and local produce where possible. Dont miss the Old Manor Hotel's 'Great British Breakfast'.

No bar, restaurant or room service will be available from 20 December 2009 to 04 January 2010. Continental breakfast will be delivered to your room each morning.
Half-tester beds are mostly antique mahogany with modern, comfy mattresses. Some have a canopy over the head end.
The suites are located in the old stable block and were recently restored using old beams and doors from the original building. The rooms have bright fabrics and antique furniture. They all have antique, carved wooden beds with the latest modern mattresses.The luxurious en suite bathrooms have baths and walk-in showers. The small, integral seating area overlooks the fields.
All the four-poster rooms have romantic antique beds fitted with modern mattresses ( for a bigger bed, book a suite with a super king-size bed). All the rooms are individually decorated with many antiques and old pictures. All the four-poster rooms are en suite and most have baths and full-height showers. One room has a wet room and no bath. If you have a preference of bath or shower, please mention it in the comments section on booking. The hotel will do their best to provide this, but it is subject to availability.
This is a large, bright room with a seating area. It has oak beams and antique furniture. It has two 4-foot double beds with antique headboards. See the 'Hotel Policies' section for prices for extra guests/z-beds. This room is suitable for disabled users; it has level access, grab rails in the bathroom, a seat in the shower and higher level seats.
The restaurant is found in the old converted milking parlour. This is decorated with antiques and old, so-called kitchenalia. The centrepiece is a huge carved stone fireplace which is lit on cold winter nights.
M25/M4-Westbound from North and West London direction: 1. Exit Junction 17 (M4). Head south on A350 on the Chippenham By-pass 2. Where A4 crosses A350 follow the A4 towards Corsham/Bath 3. After by-passing Corsham take left fork to Bradford on Avon on B3109 4. Join A363 at Bradford on Avon and enter town 5. Cross the bridge and after 100 metres turn left at mini roundabout, remaining on A363 towards Trowbridge 6. Hotel is on the right at the top of the hill just after you pass the sign 'Welcome to Trowbridge' M25/M3-Westbound from South London direction: 1. Exit Junction 8 (M3) onto A303 Westbound 2. At Stonehenge fork right onto A344 3. Pass through Shrewton and turn left on B390 towards Chitterne across Salisbury Plain 4. At the junction with A36 turn right towards Warminster which you bypass and head towards Westbury and Trowbridge 5. From Westbury stay on A363 and at Trowbridge follow signs to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Trowle 6. The hotel is on the A363 between Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon on the left M5-Southbound/Northbound or M4 Eastbound (from Wales): 1. Join M4 eastbound towards London 2. Exit Junction 18, southbound towards Bath on A46 3. By-pass Bath and stay on dual carriageway for another mile till you reach the Batheaston roundabout. Follow A363 to Bradford on Avon 4. Join A363 at Bradford on Avon and enter town 5. Cross the bridge and after 100 metres turn left at mini roundabout, remaining on A363 towards Trowbridge From south Coast: 1. Travel via Frome if coming from the west or Warminster from the east 2. At Trowbridge follow the signs for 'Through Traffic' then to Bath/Bradford on Avon on the A363 3. The hotel is on the A363 on the left at the top of the hill as you leave Trowbridge
