This charming 16th century coaching inn with 27 refurbished en suite bedrooms, 2 bars and a restaurant is situated opposite the Norman Minster and close to the town of Newark.

By Car From the M1 North: - Exit at junction 29, then follow the A617 towards Newark. - At Hockerton, turn right, following signs to Southwell. From the M1 South: - Exit at junction 21A, and follow the A46 towards Newark. - Follow the signs for Doncaster (A6097) at Bingham Roundabout and at the next roundabout (Lowdham), take the A612 to Southwell. From the A1: - At Newark, take the A617, then the A612 to Southwell. - Once in Southwell, the hotel is in the town centre. - Follow Queen Street (running down the side of the hotel) past the post office on the left. - Continue on for about the same distance, then turn left for the hotel car park. By Air The nearest international airport is East Midlands Airport. By Public Transport The nearest rail station is only a few miles away in the town of Newark. Bus services run frequently from Nottingham, Newark and Mansfield.
