This family run quality establishment is pleasantly situated on the edge of the town centre, with its 14 en suite bedrooms, a lounge bar and a restaurant. It is within easy walking distance to the ice bowl, swimming pool, and museum with it's camera obscura Dumfries - a picturesque market town - the ideal base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway, the Solway Coast, or day trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayr or venture south to Carlisle and the Lake District.
This hotel is a smoking hotel and there are no non-smoking rooms available.

You can relax and enjoy a meal in our pleasant dining room or in our lounge bar between 5.30pm and 8.30 pm seven days a week. We have a wide variety of choice on our menu to please everyone's taste. Two and three course specials are also available. Vegertarians can also be catered for on request. The lounge bar remains open until 10.00/11.00 pm sunday to thursday and 11.00/12..00 pm friday and saturday subject to demand

Cancellations

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit

A fixed amount of GBP 20 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
