The hotel has received 2 AA Rosettes for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. Opus One is fast gaining awards and accolades and to date it has received the following: A Silver Award from EatScotland, which is the maximum attainable for a new entrant. In addition, the restaurant was named 'Simply the best Meal of the Year' by the 'Lady Who Lunches', in the Perthshire Advertiser, December 2008. The Place Bar & Gavin's Bistro is a gastro-pub serving fresh, local produce. It is open for lunch, pre-theatre and evening meals.
